DiSC IS ONE OF THE MOST WIDELY USED AND HIGHLY VALIDATED PROFILING TOOLS OF IT’S

WILLIAM MARSTON. HE WAS INTERESTED IN USING PRACTICAL EXPLANATIONS TO HELP

He suggested that behavioural expression of emotions could be categorised into four primary groups, stemming from the person’s own perceptions of themselves in his or her environment.

These four types were labelled: 

Dominance (D), Influence (I), Steadiness (S) and Conscientiousness (C).
